Call of Duty Black Ops 6

If you're a slave to the Call of Duty franchise like me, then you are probably excited to know that the latest Zombie Filled edition of Call of Duty is due to be released on 25th October 2024.

The game is co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision. It's the seventh entry in the Black Ops series.

In my honest opinion Black Ops is the best part of the Call of Duty Franchise, and if you played Black Ops Cold War and the Outbreak missions then you will know that the story was left open exploring the Zombie Outbreak story better than ever before. It's been confirmed that Treyarch will release 2 maps for the Zombie mode on launch, these are:

  • Liberty Falls - Dark Aether Incursion
  • Terminus: "Blacksite 13"

What can we expect in the Zombies Story?

Terminus Island has been dubbed the modern Alacatraz by some reviewers, At its most basic level you'll be exploring and eventually breaking out of a maximum-security prison complex called Terminus Island. If you played Black Ops 4 Blackout, you will be familiar with the tight spaces of Alcatraz, and if you managed to complete the easter egg, you will know that you get to escape Alcatraz.

Liberty Falls has been dubbed Tranzit, which was a very popular map on Black Ops 2, and featured the Stulinger, Town and really interesting way to turn on the power.

Richtofen's West Virginia TranZit remake in Black Ops 6 Zombies Liberty ...

Should we be excited?

I think that the Treyarch, Raven Software duality is one of the best in AAA gaming, and with a commitment to following on the Rictofen story line, I do believe that there are exciting times ahead for the Zombie's franchise. I think that the Zombies mode is one of the most played features of Black Ops  and I just hope that Activision have allowed Treyarch to do what they do best, by building a really engaging and thrilling round-based map.

Where can we find the Zombies Intel?

There are numerous sources, the main one would be the Call of Duty website itself, you can see that link here: Intel Barrage: Everything You Need to Know About Black Ops 6 Zombies and the Terminus Launch Map (callofduty.com). There are multiple youTubers whom love to speculate and acheive millions of views on their content. @MrRoflWaffles is one of my favourites, but as we know, keeping up with the kids on YouTube is hard. I would also keep an eye out on the Call Of Duty X page (formerly known as Twitter): (1) Posts with replies by Call of Duty (@CallofDuty) / X.
