Black Ops 6 was released on October 25, 2024, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The title was made available to subscribers of select Xbox Game Pass plans on release day, including Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for Console. Black Ops 6 was co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision. It is the twenty-first installment of the Call of Duty series and is the seventh main entry in the Black Ops sub-series, following Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (2020). Nacht der Untoten (German for Night of the Undead), is the first Zombies map featured in Call of Duty: World at War, and has become a fully fledged community and dedicated game mode. There is no doubt that Treyarch are the undisputed developers of Zombies, and produce integrated maps and epic gameplay, this article is dedicated to the Zombies mode in Call of Duty black ops 6, listing each zombies map as they are released, along with the main quest and side quests as they are discovered. 

Zombies Story So Far

An active streamer called MrRoflWaffles who creates a no-nonsense-guide for the easter eggs as they are released, has created a nice video that outlines the current zombies story so far, this full Zombies Story explanation starts with the Origins of the Aether Storyline, and then covers the entire Dark Aether timeline, INCLUDING Vanguard Zombies. Liberty Falls Guide

Set in a fictional town called Liberty Falls, this is the first map, and offers gameplay that is suited to beginners, this map offers open spaces, hordes of zombies, and suits gamers who want to get into the Zombies casually, below is the opening trailer for Liberty Falls.

I have scoured the net to find a list of all the side easter eggs this map has to offer, the first of course is the main quest easter egg which allows gamers to progress zombies the story. 

Main Quest Easter Egg 

1. Find the Handbrake 
2. Find the Water Pressure Gauge
3. Find the Electrical Wires
4. Craft the Thrustodyne M23 Jet Gun
5. Craft the LTG Device in Liberty Falls
6. Capture the Riverside HVT in an Aether Canister
7. Align the Strauss Counter Projectors 
8. Capture the Cemetery HVT
9. Survive the easter egg boss fight 

Complete the Main Quest to be rewarded with a special Ray Gun skin, a Mister Peeks weapon charm, a unique calling card, and a chunk of XP. If you complete the easter egg before Season 1 of Black Ops 6 drops, you'll also receive another calling card recognising an early completion.

Craft the Jet Gun Wonder Weapon

The Jet Gun Wonder Weapon is required for the main quest, however this can also be crafted as a wonder weapon to help you in your Zombie slaying journey.

Free Power Ups

There are Various free Power Up's hidden around the map, activate these and receive free Max Ammo, Insta-Kill, Max Armor etc.

Dancing Zombies Easter Egg

Get zombies to dance and have a little party - and it's easier to achieve than you might think. 

Raining Zombies Easter Egg

Well, in Liberty Falls, it can actually rain zombies, this little side egg shows you how to make it rain zombies.

Bowling Easter Egg

A fun minigame you can enjoy in Liberty Falls, that takes all the players in a game to the bowling alley.

Aetherella Easter Egg

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to play as a superhero in zombies? Well, with Aetherella, you can!

Red Orb Easter Egg

A giant orb will rise from the pool and shower you with a ton of rewards.

Vault Easter Egg

Much like the armory in Terminus, Liberty Falls has its own secret safe area where you can use loot keys to open lockers. 

Graveyard Easter Egg

Activate the shovel and dig up rewards at the gravesite.

Mr Peeks Cars Easter Egg

After blowing up the car with Mr. Peeks, it will drop a random reward, and if you’re lucky, you might even get a wonder weapon.

 

Terminus Guide

"A jailbreak on a secluded island pits unlikely partners against the undead. Unlock the laboratory's secrets, recruit a strangely familiar ally, and avenge gruesome crimes against nature."

The map takes place in an undisclosed Blacksite on Terminus Island located in the Philippine Sea where the former operatives of Requiem are being held captive. 

This map was one of may favourites when it was released, it offers a really extensive main quest with an epic boss fight, and it is also a really good map for going high rounds. I have listed below all the main and side quests that we have discovered. 

Main Quest Easter Egg

1. Craft the Beamsmasher.
2. Obtain the hard drive and hand it over to Peck.
3. Obtain the codes for Nathan’s containment unit.
4. Defeat Nathan and obtain the Key Card.
5. Fix the network connection.
6. Hack the buoys.
7. Defuse the bombs.
8. Defeat the Terminus boss, Patient 13.

Zombies Song

Zombies easter eggs just wouldn't be the same without decent rock song. Activate the bunny ears to hear another zombie epic song.

Cook Up a Special Culinary Delight

The reward for this is a rare acheivement.

Stuffed Animal Companion

Upon finding all six stuffies, you can spawn a friendly, zombie-fighting companion that can even revive you should you go down.

Jet Boat Racing Mini-Game

Reminiscent of the classic Hyrdo Thunder videogame from the late 90s, you can find and activate a sunken Jet Boat to enter an arcade-like mini-game that sees you racing a Jet boat around the island of Terminus.

Meteor Hunting

Through a series of specific events, you can activate a Meteor to crash into one of Terminus' surrounding islands. If you can track down its crash site, you'll find tons of valuable loot ranging from Salvage, Ammo Mods, Armor Plates, Score Streaks, and even the infamous Ray Gun Wonder Weapon if you're lucky.

Hidden Booty

Various crates full of essence and perks are scattered around the murky waters around the island.

Free Double Points Multiplier

Aim and shoot at the "2" symbol In the Bio Lab, on the white cabinets with two televisions hanging on the wall above them.  This will Activate a free double points multiplier. 

Maglev Elevator Easter Egg

From the Holding Cells, head inside the Maglev Elevator to the Bio Lab. Before the lift starts moving JUMP, and this will activate a surprise bit of audio.

Crab Hunting Season

Hidden within Crab Island is a secret Whac-a-Mole mini-game, which sees you whacking small yellow-colored crabs with a Baseball Bat. Completing the game will return minor rewards like points, weapons and essence.

Explosive Fishing

If you see splashes in the water, thrown in an explosive and the fish will reward you.

Nothin' But Net

Hidden within Terminus is a Basketball that you can shoot into a Basketball hoop. If you're successful, you'll net between 2,000 Essence and 4,000 Essence

Sink Some Pool Table Balls

On the second floor of the Living Quarters, you'll find a Pool Table at the back of the building. You'll be rewarded with 100 Essence if you shoot the racked balls.

Piles of Dirt

There are 4 shovels located around the map, collecting one of these will allow you to dig up piles of dirt to get small rewards like ammo and scrap. These locations are:

1. Sea Cave where you find Speed Cola.
2. Mining Tunnels that are behind the buyable rubble beneath the Sea Tower.
3. Castle Rock Island at the south edge of the map.
4. Temple Island found to the northwest of the prison.

Permanent Double Points

Hidden in a secret treasure chest somewhere on the island of Terminus is the Chaos Talisman. When equipped, this powerful talisman will grant you the option to activate a permanent double points multiplier, but at the cost of losing a percentage of your essence every time you get hit by a zombie.

Citadelle Des Morts

(French for: Citadel of the Dead) this map immediately takes place after the Blacksite on Terminus Island.

Main Quest Easter Egg

1. Unlock the castle
2. Defeat a Doppelghast and activate the Pack-A-Punch machine
3. Speak to Krafft
4. Collect Page Fragments
5. Collect Ritual Items
6. Collect wax seal stamps
7. Activate each of the Bastard Swords
8. Complete Item Rituals and collect Incantations
9. Repair the book and complete the puzzle
10. Complete Incantations
11. Charge Mystic Orbs
12. Trigger and survive the final encounter

Once completed, you'll get 5000 XP, a Calling Card and Weaver's 'Jackknife' Operator Skin for jumping through the many hoops of this optional odyssey. The Citadelle Des Morts easter egg is a formidable expedition where you have to find and upgrade four swords and incantations and solve a series of symbolic puzzles.

Music Easter Egg

Locate and interact with three Mr. Peeks Headsets around the map to play this maps unique song.

Maya's Quest 

This side Easter Egg quest can only be completed by those who have Maya as their Operator, and while the quest itself mainly has implications for the storyline, it does reward players with a GS45 upgraded to Legendary Rarity. 

Elemental Sword Wonder Weapons

The swords are good wonder weapons that offer one hit when pack-a-punched. There are 4 swords to upgrade, each one woth it's own unique power.

Fire Protector 

Using the Caliburn fire sword ignite the fireplaces in the Tavern, Sitting Rooms, Alchemical Lab, and Dining Hall, the final fireplace will unleash a series of flame attacks on enemies in the area.

Free Power-Ups

There are seven power-ups located in various spots, with an eighth Fire Sale Power-Up spawning after players collect all the others. 

Rat King 

Loot the wedge of cheese located on the north side of Town Square. From there, locate 10 rats scattered throughout Citadelle Des Morts and feed them the cheese. Rewards include a range of god-tier loot, along with a crown to show your worthiness.

Guardian Knight Chess Piece

Summon the Guardian Knight Chess Piece by locating a knight chess piece in one of four possible locations, bringing it to a chessboard in the Sitting Rooms, and completing a ritual in the same room. 

Bartender PHD Flopper

Mr. Peeks Free Perk

Find and shoot Mr. Peeks in four different locations around the map. When shot, Mr. Peeks will travel to a different point on the map, visit each area in a certain order to bag themselves a free Perk. 

Raven Free Perk

Shoot the raven to gain a frere perk.

Wishing Well 

Wait for a special round to occur, throw a grenade down the well. Once the grenade explodes, a total of 1,000 Essence will be thrown out of the well.

Bell Tower

Use the Cannon 100 times, Once you hit your 100th attempt, you will be launched to the top of the Bell Tower. This will cause the bell to ring, drawing the attention of all zombies for one minute. Not only that, but it will also drop two Cymbal Monkeys.

The Tomb

Released on Tuesday 28th January, 2025 with Season 2 of Call of Duty Black Ops 6, The Tomb is turning out to be a decent map, following straight on from the Citadelle Des Morts storyline, this map explores getting the Sentinel Artifact which made its first appearance in block ops 4.

Main Quest Easter Egg 

1. Find your way to the Subterranean Temple
2. Open the Doorway to Nowhere
3. Obtain the Monocle
4. Destroy purple crystals to trigger constellations
5. Shoot symbols on the constellations
6. Craft the Staff of Ice
7. Shoot crystals with the Staff of Ice
8. Shoot rocks in the Dark Aether
9. Find the other side of the closed door
10. Follow the purple orb
11. Use the Ull’s Arrow to defeat different enemies
12. Prepare for and trigger the boss fight

At time of writing this, the easter egg for the Tomb is pretty hardcore, and I recommend that you have at least a pap-3 weapon, legendary rarity, full armour and a maxxed out Aether Shroud.

The ray gun is pretty useless for the boss fight as you have to destroy an inanimate object with a bullet weapon. 

The Song

Uncover three hidden music players to get an in game easter egg song that is better than a jump scare, and worthy of any heavy metal fan.

1. The very first Mr. Peeks Headset can be found in the Ossuary
2. The next Mr. Peeks Headset is located in the Shrine of the Hierophants
3. Once inside the Dark Aether Nexus, head to the southeast corner to find the final headset sitting next to a Prima Materia growth—which resembles a glowing mushroom.

Golden Armor

Collect the heads, and complete the blood sacrifice for the golden armor. 

Free Aether Tool

Have the Cryo Freeze ammo mode. Find two waterfalls in the dark aether. Simply shoot both waterfalls within a short timeframe to fulfill the Easter Egg and get a free aether tool that will upgrade your weapons rarity. 

Free Essence and Full Power

With Dead Wire infused into your weapon, locate and shoot two generators at spawn:

• The first can be found against the wall ahead of the Rampage Inducer, just beside a staircase.
• The second generator is located to the left of the Level II Armor Vest.

Free Ligth Mend Mod and Self Revive

Find 10 vases around the map at the following locations and destroy them:

• Dig Site (2)
• Roman Mausoleum
• Shrine of the Hierophants
• Tombs
• Neolithic Catacombs
• Ossuary
• Subterranean Temple (2)
• Deep Excavation

Once the last vase is destroyed a Self Revive and a Light Mend Ammo Mod will drop on the ground for each player in the match.

Free Power-Ups

There are statues of various power-ups available for you to shoot. Once they have been shot, the corresponding power-up will appear at your location.

Locations are as follows:

• Double Points - Dark Aether Nexus
• Bonus Points - Dark Aether Nexus
• Insta Kill - Deep Excavation
• Full Power - Shrine of the Hierophans
• Max Ammo - Subterranean Temple
• Max Armor - Ossuary
• Nuke - Neolithic Catacombs
• Fire Sale - Dig Site

Free Random Perk Power-Up

1. Equip Napalm Burst.
2. Reach the Ossuary (Speed Cola Room) and light the 6 lamps which look like vases at the side of the doors. 
3. Once all the lamps are lit, a Random Perk power-up will spawn.

Free Ray Gun

1. Obtain the shovel and interact with dig spots to collect 3 gems.
2. Bring the gems to the statue next to the bull mural in Tombs. This will spawn one or several Doppleghast(s).
3. Once the last Doppleghast is killed, it will drop a Ray Gun alongside several Essence canisters.
